USF Hosts: Christmas in the Castle

The public is welcome to tour the USF mansion decorated for Christmas.

The University of Saint Francis has opened up their mansion that faces Spring Street to the public for Christmas at the castle. The mansion which also serves as an administration building for some u-s-f employees is open to anyone who wants to tour the castle. Right now all three floors are decked out with Christmas decor.

"We're just thrilled to see people come in not only to see the decorations but the beautiful architecture and the features of this house that tell us a lot about what life was like at the turn of the twentieth century," said USF Christmas Coordinator Janet Patterson.

If you missed its opening day, Christmas in the castle will re-open again next weekend from noon to five. Tickets are five dollars per person. Wednesday December 11, USF will have a special tour available to seniors. Seniors can see the mansion for just $3 each.
