Crews are still out at that massive warehouse fire on the 1200 block of
The Fire ripped through a massive warehouse and spread to a nearby storage facility.
Four firefighters have been injured--but nothing too serious. One of the two buildings lost in the fire was used for storage and Monte Sorg lost everything.
“Trucks, trailers and some plows,” said Sorg.
Sorg owns a landscaping company and kept his tools at the facility. He says his livelihood went up in flames.
“I'd say I lost over $100,000 dollars worth of tool,” said Sorg
While Sorg's next steps are unknown he says friends are helping him stay on his feet.
Luckily, I have some good friends at a local shop who are letting me use some mowers until I get mine,” said Sorg.
With a fire this big Nelson says the investigation takes longer than your typical house fire, but the process is no different.
“This really is the same process its just bigger pieces bigger square footage bigger debris so instead of going in there by hand and moving pieces it requires demolishing equipment,” said Nelson
The question of arson has been raised but we're told that investigators are still several steps away from making a ruling on the cause.
Investigators were able to determine where the fire started, which we are told is a big step in the right direction.
