Erika Brannock's school year was cut short in April after she was injured in the Boston Marathon bombings.

The teacher's left leg was amputated above the knee in the attack and her right leg was severely injured.

Brannock was standing near the finish line waiting on her mother to finish the race.

The 29 year old is one of 18 teachers at the brand new Davenport Preschool in Maryland.
