Team coverage of the damage in the wake of severe storms.  A line of severe weather came sweeping through Illinois and Indiana producing tornadoes, powerful winds, and knocking out power to thousands of people.

Here in Allen County, more than 7,000 people remain without power and that's not the worst of it.

WFFT's Charlie De Mar went out into the storm and has more on the damage in our area.

The storms ripped through the Southwest part of Allen County, tearing the roof and walls off of the pole barn located on Ferguson Road just east of the airport.

Paul Justice owns the barn and says he was in his house watching football on WFFT when all of a sudden he looked out his window and noticed debris flying.

Despite loosing everything, Justice was in pretty good spirits as he explained what happened.  He estimates that the storm caused roughly $20-30 thousand dollars worth of damage.
