The research group studied more than 600,000 phone calls placed from customers to businesses.  Ohio had the most use of vulgar language followed by Maryland, New Jersey, Louisiana, and Illinois.

The places with the cleanest language were Washington, Massachusetts, Arizona, Texas, and Virginia.
