“No one was arrested yesterday and after a review of the evidence of the entire case it will be presented to the U.S Attorney’s Office for possible prosecution,” said Dennis Wichern, DEA, Indiana.

Steve Buck visits the pharmacy to fill prescriptions for his daughter, and says he's never seen anything out of the ordinary.

“Nothing looks different or out of place or shady. I just walk in get my normal prescriptions and I leave,” said Buck.

According to the pharmacies website, James Ranochok is an independent physician, with an office inside the pharmacy. A quick medical records check reveals a laundry list of serious offenses against Ranochak.

According to documents from the medical licensing board, his staff privileges were revoked at Parkview hospital in 1991, and the records go on to reveal Ranochak admitted to “ethical misconduct in the improper alteration of patient medical records.”

He also admitted to the board that he “committed surgical mismanagement and medical negligence.  Ranochak is banned from performing surgery ever again.

The owner of the North Anthony Pharmacy, Brent Losier, lives in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
