IPFW is cutting back to balance its budget.

The university recently announced it will lay off employees, freeze pay for faculty and raise tuition for students.

WFFT Spoke with representatives from the school to cut back. "IPFW is facing about an 8.4 million dollar budget shortfall for the next budget year," said Steve Serratore, Vice Chancellor at IPFW.

The university plans to eliminate about 15 jobs and raise tuition by 2%. IPFW says the reductions will save the school $2.2 million to help balance the budget.
