Sam Dailey is on the road to recovery after suffering a severe brain injury while playing for the Columbia City high school football team.
The injury is considered catastrophic and the medical bills will be covered by the IHSAA.
However, Dailey’s parents are looking after Sam and working fewer hours.
Sam’s family is holding a hog roast in his honor on Saturday—with the proceeds benefiting Sam’s parents. The event is open to the public and will be held at the Whitley County 4-H grounds. The event will feature an auction, live music and plenty of food.
