Texting while driving isn't very safe and a study by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety says hands free devices only make it worse.

The study monitored drivers with minor distractions like the radio and having a passenger.  Also monitored was a handheld electronics and voice activated system.  A field manager for AAA Motor Club says that car manufacturers may do away with built in voice control devices.

Cheryle Stump says, "What AAA is really trying to push forward with is working with the car companies and working with electronic companies to prevent any usage of those systems when the cars in motion."

AAA also says 80% of cars sold in Europe and the US include a feature with voice activated control.
