Republicans are hitting back.  Just days before Obamacare goes into effect, the man behind the new law held a campaign style event.

"Tell your friends, tell your classmates, tell your family members about the new health care choices."

President Obama going after those who say the Affordable Care Act can't and won't work.

"Republicans in Congress have now voted more than 40 time to undermine or repeal it."

On October 1st, millions of Americans without insurance can purchase a plan in an online marketplace.

"If you go to healthcare.gov you can look and they'll tell you where to go, they'll link to your state."

Moving forward, those without insurance would be forced to pay a fine and days before the exchange goes live, A CBS News/New York Times survey shows 39% of Americans approve of it.  51% disapprove.

"I don't want the President's Health Care Law.  Obamacare is not ready for primetime."

All week, both sides have been upping the ante when it comes to Obamacare optics.  Texas Senator Ted Cruz holding a more than 20 hour filibuster style talkathon.

"It's a Trojan Horse, once inside it will destroy us."

Helping hand for Obama from Explainer-In-Chief Bill Clinton, "We've got to drive people to the websites."

In the end, it's the standing law and Obama's plea, "Let's help our fellow Americans get covered."
