The Fort Wayne City Council gave the go-ahead for a potential train service in the Summit City.

The Council voted unanimously to spend $200,000 dollars to pay for an environmental impact study for high speed train service from Columbus, Ohio to Chicago right through Fort Wayne.

Supporters showed up in masses to support the ordinance, saying more travel options could keep more youth in the area.
