This week, folks at the Fort Wayne International Airport are celebrating multiple decades with several major airlines.

As of this year, United Airlines has used the airport for 65 years, Delta Air Lines is celebrating 60 years, and American Airlines at 40 years.

Employees are giving away goodies for Customer Appreciation Week.

Myers wrote a book about Baer Field two years ago, and he says he's watched the airport grow along with the airlines.

"Delta, when I came on, we had ten aircraft serving fourteen cities. The last I counted, we now serve six continents... And we have more aircraft than the air force does,” Myers says.

And also for Customer Appreciation Week, they are doing several contests online.
