Local abortion Dr. Ulrich Klopfer has been under the microscope recently for misfiling the paper work from an abortion he performed on a 13-year-old.

Dr. Klopfer travels the state of Indiana as an abortion Doctor.  He practices once a week here in Fort Wayne. Klopfer was recently accused of failing to file paperwork on time for an abortion he did on a 13-year-old.

Klopfer practices in Allen County but he doesn’t live here, therefore, he's required to have a local Doctor serve as a back-up.

Dr. Geoffrey  Cly, a Fort Wayne OB/GYN has served as the physician designee or back-up doctor to Klopfer since 2010.   He says that he’s pro-life.  He doesn’t actually perform the abortions, rather he provides emergency medical care in case of emergency.

However, in light of the recent allegations, Dr. Cly is resigning. He sent a letter to Dr, Klopfer that reads in part.

"I was willing to serve as your Physician Designee because ‘patients' well-being and safety is of utmost importance to me…However, recent information has revealed to me that you have placed other things higher in priority than the health and safety of your patients.”

Dr. Cly's resignation goes into effect on December 31st.
