A Florida resort, near Disneyworld is still open after a sinkhole swallowed up one of it's buildings.

Officials say only about 3% of their estimated 4,000 guests have been impacted.

Meanwhile: We're hearing from one man being hailed as a hero and also about an emergency call of the ordeal.

Caller - "We have a building that's potentially collapsed"
Dispatcher - "uhm"
Caller - "I don't know if it's a sinkhole or what but we got people in the building..."

A newly released 911 call shows the urgency and confusion as people at a Florida resort felt the ground under them literally sink into the earth.

Caller - "We're trying to get it evacuated and they're saying it's collapsing so fast that they don't know if they're gonna be able to get to all these rooms."
Dispatcher - "Ok."

After the earth swallowed part of the Summer Bay Resort near Disney World, a private engineering company is evaluating if the ground is stable.  Amid concerns about potential problems at other buildings on the 400 acre property.

Two were evacuated and meanwhile a security guard explained how he saved lives during the ordeal.

"There was people sleeping in rooms.  I actually had to physically wake them up and get them out of the building.  They thought it was a joke.  I said this is no joke."

As they moved, the ground under their feet moved also.

"Each time I went back and forth, down the corridors, it sank probably another 10 inches or so."

With no injuries, Shanley is being called a hero.

"I guess I've become that and I was just an average run of the mill person doing their job."
