WFFT weekend meteorologist Andrew Logsdon loves his ribs.
He loves them so much, he's sharing them with one of you.
We return to Fort Wayne's Rib Room for a double rack rib challenge for this week's edition of Weatherman Versus Food.
Ahhhh, the taste of ribs...
After months, we return to the Rib Room on State Boulevard in Fort Wayne, where it's Adam Heimann's turn to stack the rack.
"I had no clue. I was actually eating a three-serving family size mac and cheese this morning when I found out I was going to do this. So then the rest of the day, I just ate some cashews and a whole bottle of wine,” Heimann says.
He's eating two full racks of sauced-up spare ribs and this plate of fries.
It's his time to meet the meat.
"This is everything? Or is there another plate?"
"No, that's it."
Speaking of time- he's got fifteen minutes.
He starts with the fries, then tackles the ribs.
He eats, and eats fast.
As the minutes tick by, he gets full.
"This is disgusting."
Even his bar-be-cue sauce war paint is starting to run with his tears.
Time is nearly up, and still plenty of ribs and fries ignored.
"Forty five seconds!"
"Get me a bourbon!"
Time is nearly up, and these ribs are holding tough.
"They beat me!"
Great try Adam.
But this time- food wins.
