Weatherman Versus Food - Hall's Restaurants - Triathlon Challenge, Pt. 2

It's Friday, and that means another episode of Weatherman Versus Food. Now, you remember last Friday- where WFFT meteorologist Andrew Logsdon was in the middle of a triathlon challenge at the Don Hall's restaurants in downtown Fort Wayne. He just beat his competitor in an appetizer challenge out on the Deck. And when we last left off, Andrew was about to go deep into dinner upstairs in Takaoka. And he still has dessert too! Let's see if he can finish in tonight's Weatherman Versus Food.

Last week, I was about to face off against George for dinner.

Now, it's time.

“Five, four, three, two, one, go!”

We slurp through the soup, and let us go through the salad.

George drops the rice on his plate- I slowly keep at it.

Minutes go by, and dinner disappears.

With just the rice left, I take leg two of the race.

“Final bite, yay!”

“That's two!”

But now, I'm two-times stuffed, and about to square off against another empty stomach.

The run downstairs- much slower- as I head into the Gas House for dessert.

And here's Jim, already to make the cake.

The final leg of the triathlon race.

“Three, two, one, go!”

At this point- I'm stuffed.

Jim stuffs his cake.

Me? I'm lucky to have eaten five bites.

“I'm going to explode!”

Weatherman's not winning this one.

“Last bite for Jim.”

I take two out of three- which means, Weatherman wins.

But it's hard to feel good going out like that.

Especially when you're this full.

Quite the ending to a monumental feat.

Let's hope his next few aren't this big.
