Imagine the biggest burger you've ever eaten.
Tonight on Weatherman Versus Food, we're revisiting one of the biggest challenges weekend meteorologist Andrew Logsdon has conquered.
This week, we return to the Brickhouse on Jackson in Monroe, where our challenger is taking on the Bellinger Two Challenge.
We're back inside Monroe's hidden treasure- the Brickhouse on Jackson.
And inside, it's hidden treasure- the Bellringer Two Burger.
"Yesterday I tried to eat a big meal about six o'clock or so, and then kind of cut myself off, drank a lot of water this morning,” says challenger Adam Alt.
His cheering section thinks he can eat all two-and-a-half pounds of meat.
"Think he can do this?" “Yea." "Good, because I think he can eat it fast."
And now it comes out to ring his bell.
What kind of strategy takes this down?
We'll see as he dives in to devour the five patties, buns, cheese and chili.
"I don't know what I've gotten myself into."
Time flies through the first half hour, until the burger battles back.
But then- he breaks up the meat with ice cream.
"I need some ice cream. Can I get some more ice cream?"
The cool freeze gives him an extra edge.
And it puts him over the top.
In fifty-one minutes, Adam destroys the Bellringer Two, gets his shirt, and rings the bell!
