The Visual Communication and Design Program at IPFW is setting up for their end of the year gallery and awards ceremony.

The graduating Capstone Class will be displaying their Senior projects this Friday, following an awards ceremony.

Each of the 26 students choose a concentration in either graphic design, photography, modeling, or animation, and creating a project that would show their strengths in their desired career field.

William Swygart, IPFW Senior in Graphic Design, says "I created a non-for-profit organization, aimed at gaining awareness of the importance of the fatherhood role and also then, trying to promote and reunite people who may have stepped away from that role, or strengthen relationships of fathers that are in that role."

The awards ceremony begins this Friday at 6:30pm at the Allen County Public Library, with the gallery opening at 7:00pm.

More than 500 people are expected to attend the event, which is free and open to the public.
