The team's quest for 6 for 6 began as they started off the 2014 campaign against the Great Lakes Loons.

New skipper in the dugout for the Caps this season, the 29 year old Aussie Michael Collins replaced Jose Valentine who's now the Padre's First Base Coach.

Taking the mound for the Caps in the season opener the 6'6" righty Walker Wykel.  Wykel 3-6 with a 5.04 era in 23 starts fort the Caps last season.

Tough night at the ballpark for the Caps as the Loons take it by a final 9-0.
