Suspect Pleads Guilty To Grube Murders

According to a post on the Mercer County Sheriff's Facebook page, Trevin Sanders Roark pled guilty Thursday morning to the aggravated murders of Robert and Colleen Grube that occurred in rural Fort Recovery, Ohio in November 2011.
According to a post on the Mercer County Sheriff's Facebook page, Trevin Sanders Roark, 19, pleaded guilty Thursday morning to the aggravated murders of Robert and Colleen Grube that occurred in rural Fort Recovery, Ohio in November 2011.

Sanders Roark pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary. Because he was a juvenile at the time of the murders, Sanders Roark will not face the death penalty. According to the Mercer County Sheriff's Office, the maximum sentence is life in prison without parole. 

Trevin Sanders Roark is scheduled to attend a sentencing hearing on April 15th. 

Bryant Rhoades of Union City was also arrested for his alleged role in the double homicide. Rhoades was charged with obstruction of justice after authorities say he gave them false information about the case in 2012. In June of 2013, Rhoades was charged with murder. He could face the death penalty.
