FORT WAYNE, IN. -- Zane and WFFT Local's Kristen Kirchhaine spent time together at Buckner Park playing and talking about why Zane wants a Big Brother.

"Because I get lonely and have no one to play with."

Zane is an only child and said he's often bored at home.

"I never get to have some play time with somebody and because my mom's mostly busy."

His dad isn't around and his mom has to work... but that is where a Big Brother could step in.

"It would be nice to have a Big Brother. I would like to do fun activities with him."

Zane loves summer and hopes he and a Big could take advantage of the great weather.

"Putt-putt and ride the go karts. I like to go to amusement parks. My favorite sports are basketball and football."

Zane is also a big fan of racing and has some dangerous, yet exciting career goals.

"To drive a monster truck, to race in the Indy 500, and to drive a racecar."
