FORT WAYNE, In. -- Meet ten year old Soleigh. WFFT"s Kristen Kirchhaine spent time with her playing games and talking about why Soleigh wants a Big Sister.

"She would come pick me up sometimes and we would go places."

A pretty simple request for a potential Big Sister.  Soleigh would just like somebody to hang out with. She's not too picky about what her and a Big could do together.

"I like to bake pies and cakes.  I like to paint, play outside, ride my bike or my scooter, [play] laser tag."

Soleigh also likes going to the movies, swimming, skating, shopping, and getting her nails done from time to time.  She could use a little help with school.

"Homework projects that we will have to do in class."

Soleigh knows she needs to do well in school to pursue her current career goal.

"I wanna be a lawyer."

If you would like to help Soleigh get on the right track to fulfill her dreams, find out more about mentoring. Call Big Brothers Big Sisters at 456-1600.
