Sierra and WFFT took a trip to Hedgehog Press. Sierra got an opportunity to use an antique printing press and talked to Kristen about why she wants a Big Sister.

"So I don't have to stay at home and I get to go places... so I have somebody to talk to."

These are reasons Sierra would like to have a Big. She doesn't have any sisters at home, and Sierra would like a girl to have fun with and spend time with. She hopes a future Big Sister would enjoy some of the same 'girly' things she likes.

"I like to do hair and nails. I like to shop."

Sierra also likes to draw, paint, play outside, write stories, and read. She'd also like to get back into cheer-leading. Her favorite thing about the fifth grade is that her class gets to go on lots of field trips. But it's not all fun and games, Sierra has big plans for a future career.

"I'm going to be a lawyer or a baby doctor," she said.

A Big Sister could help Sierra with school work, be someone to share her thoughts with, and someone to have fun with too. To learn more about how to become a mentor to Sierra, call Big Brothers Big Sisters at 456-1600.
