FORT WAYNE, In. -- WFFT's Kristen Kirchhaine spent time with thirteen year old Megan for this weeks Start Something Big. They went to Tokens-N-Tickets, played games, ate fro-yo, and talked about why Megan is back on the waiting list for a Big Sister.

Megan has been matched with a Big Sister for about a year, but now her Big Sis is moving out of state... landing Megan back on the waiting list. But, she has a great attitude about it all.

"I like getting to know new people," said Megan.

The most important things Megan wants from a Big are conversation and fun.

"I like talking a lot and I like to hang out and like to do things that are active."

Megan also hopes her future Big Sister shares her passion for animals.

"I really love animals, I want to be a veterinarian."

In the next few weeks, Megan will finish up sixth grade.  She's excited for summer and hopes her and a future Big could go to a waterpark.
