FORT WAYNE, In. -- Eight year old Marvin is on the waiting list for a Big Brother. He spent time with WFFT's Kristen Kirchhaine at Franke Park talking about his search for a Big.

"I never had a Big Brother and I want to know what it's like to have a Big Brother."

Marvin has four siblings but no older brothers.  That is the main reason he wants a Big.

"I would like to go places.  To the mall, to the store, to Sky Zone.  Go to the water park and go feed ducks with him."

Marvin is funny, energetic, fearless, and said he will try just about anything. But there is one specific thing he hopes a Big Brother could take him to do.

"I've never been on a rollercoaster."

Marvin also likes to swim, skate, watch tv and superhero movies, play video games, play basketball, and eat out at the Golden Corral.  Although Marvin will only be in the third grade this school year, he already knows what he wants to be when he grows up.

"I want to be a police officer because you get to save people."

If you would like to sign up to be a Big Brother to Marvin, call Big Brothers Big Sisters at 456-1600.
