"Because it's somebody I can hang out with." Isaiah, on why he wants a Big Brother
FORT WAYNE, In. -- Isaiah was featured for Start Something Big about two years ago, but he is still on the waiting list. He hopes this summer, that will change.

When Isaiah was first featured, he was only six years old.

"I've been, um, waiting a long time," said Isaiah.

He doesn't have any brothers or sisters, and his dad isn't around, so having a Big would make a world of difference to him.

"Because it's somebody I can hang out with."

Isaiah has a wide array of interests for an eight year old.

"I like Komets games. I like volleyball. Building stuff. I like computers. Crazy Pinz bowling. Chuck-E-Cheese. Tokens-N-Tickets."

And Isaiah is quite the foodie.

"Cheeseburgers, hot dogs, mac and cheese (shell kind), chicken, shrimp."

Going out for a nice meal is something Isaiah would enjoy doing with a Big Brother.

"Going to the Back 40. It's a restaurant that's really old, it has crab legs that are really good."

And one surprising thing about his food tastes...

"I don't like candy."
