Start Something Big - Adrian

Over at Franke Park, we spent time with 11 year old Adrian feeding ducks and geese and talking to him about why he wants a big brother.
Over at Franke Park, we spent time with 11 year old Adrian feeding ducks and geese and talking to him about why he wants a big brother.

Adrian is outgoing and is also a great conversationalist but with such a large family, it's hard for him to get much personal attention.

"I have 4 brothers and sisters on my mom's side and 10 brothers and sisters on my dad's side."

Even with all those siblings, Adrian still doesn't have an older male to spend time with.

He has plenty of interests he'd love to share.

"With a Big Brother, I'd play football baseball and soccer.  I like roller skating, counting last year and this year I've probably had like 5 skateboards."

Even though Adrian has been waiting for a big for a long time, he understands the process and hopes to give back to the organization one day.

"I've been waiting for a Big Brother for 3 years now, I know how other people are waiting for one, so I was gonna be a Big Brother."
