Patients were waiting in the play area and got to meet their favorite stars of Sesame Street in person.

Grandparent Penny Prince says for a half hour, this visit allowed these kids to forget that they are stick at the hospital.

Prince says, "Oh, it was awesome.  I seem him smile and he was so excited and all the other kids were so happy.  It done a lot for these kids because they are in here not feeling well and going through all these things they don't understand."

The characters are in town for the show "Sesame Street Live, Make a New Friend" taking place at the Coliseum.
