Krista Stockman with FWCS says the district is eager to find out the new standards.
"The fact that we now aren’t doing common core, we still don't have a direction on what we are doing,” said Stockman.
Indiana State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Glenda Ritz along with a committee appointed by the Governor are in the process of drafting
“Reviewing the standards means that we are also reviewing the Common Core, so right now we have our revision out there and we are taking public comment and we are excited because we have over 2,000 public comments online.
Common Core was adopted by the state back in 2010 under then superintendent Tony Bennett
