The space will most likely be used for a manufacturer or a warehouse. Bluffton Mayor Ted Ellis says attracting new businesses comes with handling other issues like unemployment.
"Last unemployment numbers were 5.2 percent so we’re pretty respectable yet still room to grow," said Ellis.
The 200,000 square foot facility is expected to bring anywhere form one to 200 jobs. Full time construction will begin in just a few days and be finished in six to nine months.
