Mad Ants shine in NBA Showcase

The MadAnts came home with an undefeated record from the NBA Showcase held in Reno.

The Mad Ants came home with an undefeated record from the NBA Showcase held in Reno. 

They took down Santa Cruz 101-97, after staging a furious rally, coming back from a 22 point deficit to take the game. Ron Howard racked up game high 28 points, making 16 of 19 free throws ; Trey McKinney Jones scored 25, while Memphis Grizzlies Jamaal Franklin chipped in 15 from the bench  Detroit Pistons Tony Mitchell helped out with 10 points and two blocks

The Mad Ants then went on to beat Tulsa in Wednesday's game 109-97.  Five players scored in double digits including Howard (21)  McKinney Jones (18) D Lazare (14) C Porter (13) and Sadiel Rojas (11). 

The MadAnts also won the earlier protested game against Texas 105-99. 

The team is now in second place in the East Division
