Northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio is known for its landscape companies.

However, most specialize in seasonal work.

We found a local company that does it all, all year round.

It’s this week’s Locally Made Monday.

Chris French started Unique Lawn and Landscape over a year ago.

But he has years of experience, working for many of the other companies in town.

He says he's brought their best together and made it his own.

French started Unique Lawn and Landscape in December 2012, but he brought over thirteen years of experience with him.

He's done it all, and so does his company.

"We are a full-property, estate, business or residential, commercial or residential landscape company. And when I say full service, we will service about anything for any commercial or residential,” French says.

And he means everything.

"From landscape to soft scaping, from water features to fertilization to mowing on a weekly to bi-weekly basis,” French says.

French says they even clean windows and properties, walk dogs- and as the seasons change, do leaf removal, and even Christmas lights and decorations.
"For a lot of our clients, we hang up their Christmas lights, in and out, and we can go inside and decorate Christmas trees, hang up stockings,” French says.

He says the reason for his all-encompassing approach is the trust it builds with his clients- most of which are up north.

"Mainly, a lot of our focus is north, in the Huntertown area. But we'll travel all over,” French says.

And he says he's taken the best in local talent.

"We employ in peak season around six to eight guys, two mow crews, and a full landscape crew,” French says.
