If you have been Downtown lately, you may have noticed some new sculptures around the city as IPFW's "Sculpture with a Purpose" project is installing 50 sculptures to serve as bike racks around Fort Wayne.

5 were installed in front of businesses.  Jimmy John's, Wells Fargo, Tower Bank, The Hilton, and Visit Fort Wayne.

IPFW "Sculpture with a Purpose" Project Manager Ruth Stone is excited to see this artwork start to go up around the city.

"Great thing to have in the community because it's reason to meet other people.  They become landmarks in the city.  Being around something creative has shown definitely that it will encourage more creativity within our community."

The sculptures will be dedicated to the city during the Kickstarters Festival on May 17th.
