FWCS Will Extend School by One-Hour

FWCS will extend the school day by one-hour.
Fort Wayne Community Schools’ Board of Trustees voted in favor of extending the school day by one-hour.  The plan is to make-up for the days of school missed due to the brutal winter weather.

The extra hour of instruction will begin on Monday, March 3 and run through April 11.  Elementary schools will have class until 4:30 p.m.  Middle schools will be dismissed at 3:25 p.m, and high school will finish at 3:35 p.m.  School will not be extended an extra hour on Friday, March 28 due to the beginning of Spring Break.
