A Fort Wayne couple has been charged with allegedly starving their dog to death.

When police went to this home at 5523 Allendale Drive to serve arrest warrants, they discovered the body of a dead dog.  Animal Control Officers were called to the scene.

They say the dog's body was so badly decomposed they could not determine the exact cause of death but believe the dog was starved to death.

Cameron Marcum and Chelsey Ormsby face charges of torturing or mutilating an animal, cruelty to an animal, and harboring a non-immunized dog.

Animal Care and Control says the couple has not yet been arrested and the children living in the home have been removed by Child Protective Services.
