Multimedia Journalist WFFT Local News<br />

Charnae Davenport joined the WFFT news team in June, 2013.

Charnae comes to us from The Golden State where her knack for news stretched from her hometown of Stockton, California all the way down to Los Angeles where she earned a Journalism degree at California State University, Northridge. While in college, Charnae worked as a production assistant and traffic producer at KABC, the number one news station in Los Angeles. She held internships at CNBC, NBC Nightly News, The Academy of Television Arts Emmy Foundation, KABC's weekend entertainment show "On The Red Carpet" and closer to home, KCRA in Sacramento.

A love for telling peoples' stories is what brought her to the business. When she's not in front of the camera, Charnae enjoys traveling and meeting new people. She is far from home but looks forward to getting acquainted with the Fort Wayne community.
