If you're a small business owner looking for a loan, then there are now more options available to you.

CANI's Center for Community and Economic Development is now a small business administration microlender.

President and CEO of CANI Steve Hoffman says this will bring more funds into the community, while helping small businesses get loans for technical assistance.  These loans will also help entrepreneurs build their business.

"These are all small businesses so not a huge employment base yet but most businesses start off small.  So hopefully we get a lot of businesses started and they just continue to grow and employ more and more people."

CANI's mission is to create economic opportunities for people that can't get affordable financial services.
