Britney Pape, assistant manager, says the reason for all the violations is a combination of events, The cold weather, an old building and a cleaning regimen that just wasn’t getting the job done.
Asakusa is now back in business and wants you to know that they are determined to prevent another bug from entering the restaurant.
A deluxe cleaning, new base boards and improved appliances has the owners at Asakusa confident that they now have the problem under control.
“Just because we are closed doesn't mean we are a bad restaurant. We hold ourselves to very high standards. We care a lot about our customers and what they think about us. We care about our food and what our kitchen looks like,” said Pape.
