Wesley Hunsucker entering the game late in the first, proving to be the spark that St. Francis needed, throwing for 207 yards and three touchdowns, while true freshman Jason Nicodemus brought in 83 yards on the ground. Final score 28-24. St. Francis is now 5-2 on the season.
The Cardinals of Ball State are now 8-1 on the season with a perfect 5-0 Mid-American Conference record after beating Akron 42-24. Keith Wenning with another great performance throwing for 240 yards and five scores to lift his team to victory. Running back Jahwan Edwards racks up 120 yards and one touchdown, while Wide Receiver Willie Snead pulls in 124 yards with two touchdowns. This marks the sixth straight wins for the Red Birds, and their 10th straight MAC victory.
Notre Dame (6-2) routes Airforce (1-7) 45-10 to bring in their 3rd straight win. After last weeks neck injury, Tommy Rees was questionable, but the Irish get lucky as the Senior was not only able to play, but he had an incredible day. Rees couldn't miss, completing 17 off 22 for 284 yards and 5 touchdowns. Rees moves to third place in team history with 54 career TD passes. For the first time in school history, the Irish had five different receivers catch a touchdown pass: Corey Robinson (son of former NBA All-Star David Robinson), Ben Koyack, TJ Jones, William Fuller and Chris Brown.
