Armed Robbery Turns Into Four Hour Standoff with Police

Fort Wayne Police arrested four juveniles early Sunday morning after an armed robbery turned into a four hour standoff on the southeast side of town.
The suspects refused to leave the home and the SWAT team was called a few hours later to assist police.
Fort Wayne Police arrested four juveniles early Sunday morning after an armed robbery turned into a four hour standoff on the southeast side of town.

Around 8:20 p.m., officers responded to the armed robbery in the 3300 block of Bowser Ave. The victim told police he was approached by four black juveniles with a gun who stole his wallet and cell phone.
 
Footprints in the show led officers to a home in the 3500 block of Bowser Ave. The suspects refused to leave the home and the SWAT team was called a few hours later to assist police.

Around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, the four suspects finally came out of the home. Each were arrested on one count of armed robbery. No one was hurt during the standoff. The incident remains under investigation.
