The Anthony Wayne statue that sits in Freimann Square will stay where it is.
The Mayor initially proposed moving the statue using $75,000 dollars of tax payer money.
The Anthony Wayne statue that sits in Freimann Square will stay where it is.

This comes after Mayor Tom Henry announced his plan to move the statue across the street to the Court House lawn.

The Mayor agreed to work with the Courthouse Preservation Trust to raise private money to add improvements to the statue.

The Mayor initially proposed moving the statue using $75,000 dollars of tax payer money.

The private money raised will go towards trimming the trees and adding lights.
