We finally have a name for the new high school conference that's forming in Northeast Indiana starting in 2015.

After the NHC voted to dissolve last year, the teams were free to form their own conference.  They did that, and it's going to be called the NE8.

Which means the Northeast 8.  The new conference will include Bellmont, Columbia City, New Haven, DeKalb, Norwell, East Noble, and a couple of schools from different conferences including Leo from the ACAC and Huntington North who is coming over from the NCC.

As for Carroll and Homestead, their football and basketball teams are heading to the SAC.
