The Komets had themselves a pretty nice weekend down in South Carolina.

The K's split the series with the Sting Rays, lit the lamp 9 times and more importantly, held onto that final playoff spot in the East.

Aaron Clarke played so well, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists in the series, he was awarded ECHL Player of the Week Honors.

Now it's onward and upward for Gary Graham and the Komets as they get set for the final playoff push.

With a 1 point lead over Florida in the playoff standings, with 6 games left to go in the regular season, get set to host Cincinnati.

The Cyclones have yet to clinch a playoff spot thought they're a near lock with 80 points on the year, but the Komets have really had Cincy's number winning 4 of the previous 6 matches.
