The Fort Wayne Curling Club Just opened its doors in The Summit City!  They have worked with Olympic Teams, and are holding Leagues to teach people how to play the sport of Curling.  President Craig Fischer started the Fort Wayne Curling Club almost four years ago, and after much preparation, decided to acquire his own building for the club.

Craig Fischer and his wife entered into the curling world as a way to help their special needs child partake in an activity.  The family traveled hours to the nearest curling facility to partake in the sport.  When the classes grew less and less, it was more and more diffcult for the Fischer family to make the treck.  In 2010, The Fischer's started their own Curling Club right here in the Summit City.  During the last four years, the club has played host to many past and current Olympic Teams.

In a decision that every Curling Club dreams of, The Fort Wayne Curling Club opened the doors to their own facility in January of 2014.  They offer Rookie League's, Tutorials, regular team sessions and much much more!

The best part about Curling, is the Broom Stacking - thats when everyone that plays, enjoys food and drink after competition.
