Amanda Burge, "Something for people to keep in mind, there's a lot to CrossFit and there is definitely a learning curve. So we do our best as coaches to come alongside, but just be patient with it and don't take it too seriously at the beginning. Competing is really fun, but we don't have people do that right out of the gate. We just want to make sure that the foundation is laid and then we add intensity, so we're all about safety and mechanics first."

I played soccer in college and CrossFit opened my eyes to weaknesses I didn't know I had, so that's sort of that end of the spectrum. If it's kind of the couch to 5K mentality and someone hasn't done any type of exercising, great."
