Weekend Events Bring Thousands to Fort Wayne

Thousands of people from across the nation are expected to stop by Fort Wayne this weekend. There are a number of events going on around town including the Ikasucon Convention at the Grand Wayne Center and a National Roller Hockey Champtionship at the SportONE Parkview Icehouse. 

About 10,000 people are expected to visit Fort Wayne for the State Wars U.S. Roller Hockey Championship. This is the first year the summit city is hosting the 12 day tournament. 

Also this weekend more than 1,000 people are expected to visit the Grand Wayne Center for the Ikasucon Convention. 

The influx of visitors are bringing with them an estimated $3.4 million in revenue for the city, which is great news for local business.
