This week, WFFT meteorologist Andrew Logsdon was at Atz's North in Fort Wayne.
You know them for their famous ice cream.
In this week's challenge, Andrew took on a lot more than that.
The Atz family has made ice cream since the 1920s.
And their restaurant, Atz's North, open since 1956.
They're known for that ice cream, but they also have a full menu- all day long.
And that is the theme of this week's challenge.
"And you know, you had some big meals. But we're going to do 'all day long.' we're going to do breakfast, we're going to do dinner, and then we're going to top it off with some ice cream," says Jeff Atz.
The 'All Day Long' challenge.
Their sunshine breakfast- two plates of eggs, hashbrowns, sausage and toast.
Then dinner- beef and noodles, on top of mashed potatoes.
To top it off- the Mad Anthony sundae.
Five scoops, five sauces, and toppings.
"Let's see how far you can get," Atz says.
"Alrighty, we've got breakfast going."
There's no time limit, but dinner is coming quick.
The sun rises- and sets- on breakfast- in minutes.
"Last bite. Is there room for some beef and noodles?"
Dinner is served- and it is filling.
But my 'just desserts' are coming-
"And last bite of dinner."
And finally- the angry sundae arrives.
Will my same strategy- eat it as fast as I can- also work on this?
This bomb of lactose has the final say.
And with about two scoops left- I tap out.
"I think we're done here."
And in the very first 'All Day Long' challenge, food wins.
And an add-on to this story-
Andrew says this is the first challenge that's made him throw up.
So score one for Atz's.
