Collective bargaining for Fort Wayne City unions could be a thing of the past. Three ordinances were introduced at Tuesday’s City Council meeting.  The ordinances are aimed at eliminating the collective bargaining process for union workers.

City Councilmen Russ Jehl, R-2nd, and John Crawford, R-At-Large, introduced the ordinances.

The first ordinance would repeal collective bagging for non-public safety unions.  The second would remove collective bargaining and consolidate  non-public safety unions.

The third, which was introduced by Crawford alone, would repeal collective bargaining for the three public safety unions.
