In this video, a Planned Parenthood counselor gives rough sexual advice to a teenager. This undercover video was reportedly filmed in March and released just this week.
WFFT's Isabella Moller spoke with representatives from Planned Parenthood, Right to Life, and reached out to our local legislators since Planned Parenthood receives most of it's funding from the federal government.
Several people here in Fort Wayne are outraged that our tax dollars supporting Planned Parenthood are being used to teach this type of information to young teens and the counselor in the video has since been fired.
This video surfaced with an undercover 15 year old at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Indianapolis. The counselor provides the teenager with personal experiences and other information on different sexual acts. Everything from using sex toys to bondage and S&M.
The teen tells the counselor that she is 15 and her boyfriend is 17 turning 18 soon. The state's age for consensual sex is 16 and after knowing this the counselor continues to give advice for the underage teen.
At one point the counselor refers to a whip as a leather duster.
Cathie Humarger, with Indiana Right to Life is outraged by the video.
"I was absolutely appalled that our tax payer dollars are going to fund this kind of information that's been given to our teens."
Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky gave this statement, "This video does not reflect the work our dedicated employees do everyday, nor the experience shared by parents and teens who participate in our programs."
Since the Federal Government spends millions of dollars each year funding Planned Parenthood nationwide, WFFT reached out to our local lawmakers in Washington and asked them to watch the video and respond.
Senator Joe Donnelly's office sent us this statement, "He does not think this is appropriate material to be teaching a 15 year old."
