A month after an IAB Financial Bank was robbed in Harlan; another IAB Financial Bank was robbed in Grabill, Indiana this morning. A male subject entered the bank wearing a black mask and then fled on foot. This is the second robbery of an IAB bank in just over a month.

Robin Jump works behind the IAB Financial Bank. "We got a call from our boss who works at the Sowder Store she said the bank was just robbed lock down,” said Jump.

Robin Jump works at the Coffee Cabin which is right behind the IAB Financial Bank that was robbed Tuesday morning. At approximately 9 am the Allen County Sheriff’s responded to a panic alarm at the IAB Financial Bank in Grabill.

Andrew Ford lives in Grabill and is shocked this happened in his small town. Ford said, "I don’t know if Grabill has ever had a robbery of any place in town its a peaceful quiet town it wouldn’t surprise me if it never happened certainly not for 20 or so at any rate."

Ford said he noticed the police cars at the bank this morning. Ford said, "I was coming back for something else and I was kinda surprised like what’s going on that we have 3 police cars at the bank."

Jump said a couple she spoke with, who was sitting in a parking lot across from the bank, saw the whole thing go down.

"I think he’s going to rob the bank and the wife said no he’s just a young kid and then about 30 seconds later he took off ran across the parking lot and over the tracks,” said Jump.

Jump said although this is unusual to happen in her small town, she's not worried. "No because its small town community we all look out for each other," said Jump.
